Data Visualization Best Practices & Introduction to Tableau Public

September 15, 2020 - 2:00pm to 3:30pm

Effectively communicating your data to an audience is a necessary part of any project. This online workshop will focus on how to harness visualization tools to tell a story. We will discuss how different types of graphs and charts are perceived and how they can be used to answer different questions. We will then lead participants through a hands-on demonstration of using Tableau Public to create data visualizations. Tableau Public is a free tool that allows you to create interactive graphs, dashboards, maps and tables from virtually any data.
