Lunch with the Dean - Thriving In Graduate School: Perspective - Balance - Community

October 8, 2019

Dear Graduate Students:

Lunch with the Dean is an informal occasion for us to chat about graduate education issues that concern you, for me to solicit your views on emerging topics, and for you to connect with fellow graduate students across the Dietrich School.

To kick off this year’s series, I invite you for a conversation about:

Thriving In Graduate School: Perspective – Balance – Community

topics I suggest we touch on include –

  • goal setting, making progress, time management, celebrating steps
  • agency and perspective: strategies to complete graduate school
  • communication
  • the art of critique
  • failure as part of success
  • self-care, community, support

Lunch with the Dean
Tuesday, October 15 – 1:00–2:00 pm
4127 Sennott Square, Martin Room
We will order healthy food locally.
