The Gender, Sexuality, and Women’s Studies Program invites University of Pittsburgh graduate and undergraduate students to apply for the 2019 Student Research Fund Awards. Students who are engaged in research related to the study of gender and/or sexuality can apply for awards of up to $1,000 to support travel expenses, research materials, or other costs directly related to research.
Any graduate or undergraduate student at the University of Pittsburgh enrolled in a major or certificate program and has made progress toward the requirements. Students must be official Pitt students during the time that they will use the funds.
Proposals should have a clear research rationale that actively engage and contribute to gender, sexuality, and women’s studies scholarship. Upon completion of the research, award recipients may be asked to present their findings to the GSWS community.
