Vote by April 11: DSAS Ph.D. Students Participate in Pitt’s Three Minute Thesis (3MT) Competition

Two Dietrich School PhD students – Yasha Kaushal, a PhD candidate in Physics and Astronomy, and Andrea Maxwell, a PhD candidate in History of Art and Architecture – are among the nine competitors for this year's Three Minute Thesis (3MT) Competition run by the Provost's Office.

In this competition, these candidates have produced three-minute videos in which they offer compelling explanations of the significance of their dissertation research.

All student peers, alumni, faculty members, and staff are invited to participate by voting for the People’s Choice Award. Voting will remain open and the videos will remain available until this Sunday, April 11, 2021, at 11:59p EST. Anyone with a Pitt email address and a Twitter handle can vote:

Judging criteria can be found on the main Pitt 3MT webpage. Winners will be announced live via Zoom at noon EST on Monday, April 12, 2021.
